Associate Professor Rajkumar Buyya, along with his team members Saurabh
Garg and Dr. Pramod Konugurthi, has received the Best Paper Award at the
16th International Conference on Advanced Computing and Communication
(ADCOM 2008) for his work on "Linear Programming Driven Genetic Algorithm
for Meta-Scheduling on Utility Grids". The paper was co-authored by a
research scientist from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) who
visited GRIDS Lab during 2006-2007. This research is funded through grants
from the ARC and DIISR.
