Best Paper Award for CLOUDS Lab Members:

Professor Rajkumar Buyya, along with his PhD students Suraj Pandey & Linlin Wu
and collaborator Dr. Siddeswara Guru from CSIRO, has received the Best Paper
Award from the 24th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Information
Networking and Applications (AINA 2010, Perth, Australia, April 20-23, 2010)
for his research work on "A Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO)-based Heuristic
for Scheduling Workflow Applications in Cloud Computing Environments".

AINA 2010 conference has accepted 180 papers out of 700 submitted (25%
acceptance rate).

This research is partially supported by the ARC (Australian Research Council).
